How it works

Three steps. Nothing to install.

  1. STEP 01Upload the PDF

Chequing, savings or credit card — the statement you download from online banking. We detect the account type for you.

  2. STEP 02We extract and reconcile

Every row is checked against the running balance and the statement totals. Anything uncertain is flagged, never guessed.

  3. STEP 03Review, then download

Fix a flagged row in place and watch the balance re-check. Download as Excel, CSV, QuickBooks (QBO) or OFX.

Reconciliation

An AI chat can give you a spreadsheet. We tell you if it's right.

A converted statement is only useful if the numbers add up. Every file we produce comes with a reconciliation: opening balance plus credits minus debits must equal the closing balance — to the cent.

When it doesn't, we don't hide it. You see the gap and the rows that caused it, before you pay.

1 row needs review — Sep 12, CHQ #104. The amount couldn't be read; the running balance suggests 1,250.00.

Exports

One statement, four formats

.xlsx

Real dates and numbers, a summary sheet with the reconciliation, rows that need review highlighted.

.csv

Debit/credit columns or a single signed amount — whichever your bookkeeping software imports.

.qbo

Import straight into QuickBooks as bank transactions.

.ofx

For Xero, Quicken and other tools. Stable transaction IDs, so re-imports don't duplicate.

Security

Your statement is sensitive. We treat it that way.

Read the details on our security page.

Stored in Canada

Files and data stay in Canadian data centres.

Deleted after 14 days

Automatically. Or delete it yourself the moment you're done.

Never used for training

Unless you explicitly allow it, statement by statement.

Encrypted in transit and at rest

Our admin tools can't open your statements or transactions.

FAQ

Questions

What if my statement doesn't reconcile?

You'll see how much it's off by and which rows are involved. Fix them in the review screen and the balance re-checks instantly. You can still download, with a clear warning.

Can I upload a scanned or photographed statement?

Not yet. Download the PDF directly from your online banking instead — those convert most accurately.

Which banks are supported?

We're built for RBC, TD, Scotiabank, BMO, CIBC, National Bank and Desjardins. Other banks often work too — the reconciliation tells you whether the result is correct.

Do I need an account?

You can upload and review without one. To download, sign in with your email and a password; we email you a link to confirm a new password.
