Terms of Service
Last updated: October 8, 2026
Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Bolong Tech Inc. (“we”), which operates Statement2Sheet at statement-to-sheet.com. By using the website or the developer API you accept them. If you use Statement2Sheet for an organisation, you accept them on its behalf. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
The service
Statement2Sheet converts text-based PDF bank and credit-card statements into spreadsheets and accounting files, and checks the result against the statement's own balances. Some statements cannot be converted (for example scanned or password-protected files, or products we do not support) and are rejected.
Check the results
We show you how each result reconciles and flag rows we could not confirm, but conversion can still be wrong. Review your data before relying on it for bookkeeping, tax or any other purpose; you are responsible for what you file or submit.
Your statements
You keep all rights to the statements you upload and to the results. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service to you, as the Privacy Policy describes. Upload only statements you are entitled to share with us.
Your account
You sign in with codes sent to your email address, a password you set, or, where offered, a Google account you connect; keep that mailbox, your password and that Google account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and your API keys. Keep API keys secret and revoke a key you believe has leaked.
Credits and payment
Your first download of a converted statement from the website (after any free credits), or completing one through the developer API, uses credits according to its number of pages; downloading it again is free, as shown on our Pricing page. A statement that is rejected or fails does not use credits. If a result is wrong or you need a refund, contact us at [email protected].
A monthly plan renews and is charged each month until you cancel it from your account; cancelling keeps it until the end of the month you paid for. Its credits are used before other credits and are valid for that month only: what's left when it renews doesn't carry over. Credits from one-time packs never expire.
Purchases are sold through Stripe, our reseller and the merchant of record, using its Link service (the charge shows as “LINK.COM*” on your card statement): it charges any sales tax that applies where you live, issues the receipt, and may handle payment disputes and refund requests about a charge under its own terms.
Developer API
The developer API is in beta: we may change it, with notice in the API documentation where we can. Requests are subject to rate limits. You are responsible for having the right to send us the statements you submit and for how you use the results.
Acceptable use
Do not upload content you have no right to share, try to access other people's data, disrupt or overload the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without our permission, or resell it without our agreement. We may suspend access that breaks these rules. To report a security issue, write to [email protected].
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted. We may change or discontinue features. If we change these terms, we will publish the new version here and update the date above; continuing to use the service means you accept it.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or penalties arising from data you did not review. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
Ending
You can stop using the service at any time and delete your account from your Account page, or ask us to. Deleting it ends a monthly plan at once: the rest of the month you paid for and any unused credits are lost. We may end or suspend your access if you break these terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and disputes go to the courts of British Columbia, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
Trademarks
Excel, QuickBooks, Xero and other product names belong to their owners. Statement2Sheet is not affiliated with or endorsed by them or by any bank.
