What happens to your statement
A bank statement shows where you live, where you shop and who you pay. Here is exactly how we handle it, from upload to deletion.
- UploadEncrypted in transit, stored encrypted in Canada
Your PDF travels over HTTPS and is stored encrypted in a private, Canadian data centre.
- ProcessingRead by software, not people
Our parser extracts the transactions. If it can't make a statement reconcile, the relevant pages may be read by an AI model we run on our own servers in Canada. They are never sent to an outside AI company, and the model neither keeps them nor learns from them.
- Day 0 – 14Available to you, and only you
So you can re-download or fix a row. No one at our company looks at them unless you allow it.
- Day 14 — or soonerDeleted
The PDF, the extracted transactions and your corrections are deleted automatically. Use "Delete now" any time before that.
Never trained on without consent
You can choose to let one statement help improve our parser. That copy is kept up to 2 years in separate storage, and you can withdraw at any time.
Passwords stored only as hashes
Sign in with a password you confirm by email or, where offered, your Google account. A password is kept only as a salted scrypt hash. We never ask for your online banking credentials.
Built for Canadian privacy law
Designed around PIPEDA, British Columbia's PIPA and Québec's Law 25. Business customers can sign a Data Processing Agreement.
